Taking Care of Your Auto Tires

Few people know that proper care for their auto tires can actually save them money and can save their lives. Having good tires that are inflated, balanced and aligned properly will result in the longevity of the tires and good gas mileage of your car. They can also prevent accidents and they give you smooth comfortable driving and riding experience.
Always check the tire pressure. Do not check if the tires if the tires are hot or when you have used your car within 3 hours. Let them cool first for hours before checking the pressure. You cannot have an accurate pressure reading if your auto tires are hot.

Rotate tires as often as recommended by your car’s manual. Put the front left tire to the back right and vice versa. Put the front right tire to the back left tire and vice versa.
When you notice that your car has wiggly wheels or when you feel that your tires are not running in straight lines when you are not holding the wheels, do wheel alignment or wheel balance. Always check if there are materials in your tires that can cause air leakage.
Your tires are the only ones that get in contact with the road. They are the first parts of your car to suffer wear and tear. Taking care of them properly and doing regular maintenance on them should be done by all owners of cars.
